The ESBE VTN202 is an anti-freeze safety valve designed to protect monobloc heat pump systems from frost damage during low-temperature conditions or power failure.

The VTN200 series incorporates ambient temperature sensing, making it particularly suitable for heat pump systems that operate in both heating and cooling. This prevents unnecessary discharge during warm weather when low water temperatures are caused by cooling operation rather than freezing conditions.
